Raindrop Back to School
The Raindrop Back to School Program is an event that assists children and families in the Greater Lansing Area with back to school needs.
In 2017, New World Flood partnered with two local non-profit organizations, Haven House and The Davies Project of Mid-Michigan, to provide a wonderful experience for several area students. The program offered school-aged children an opportunity to shop for items they would need to start their school year off well-prepared. Meijer, located on Lake Lansing, provided a community grant to support this program, as well as a place for the children to shop in a comfortable setting.
New World Flood, with the support of Bikers for Books, was able to provide each child with three brand new books to encourage their educational endeavors. New World Flood was also able to donate dozens of backpacks to local organizations that assist families in need.

This past summer a generous and giving group of State of Michigan employees held a drive to collect school supplies to support New World Flood's efforts to assist area students in their back to school needs. The group gathered and organized backpacks, school supplies such as notebooks, folders, glue, colored pencils, pens and pencils, erasers and many more items. This year's program would not have been possible without the help of groups like them. Thank you.
